Details: Get prepared to sink your teeth into this third-person adventure where you use the dark gifts of a noble vampire named Kain to uncover a sinister plot. Kain was an army commander nearly destroyed by the mysterious Sarafan Lord. Nursed back to health by a fellow vampire, Umah, our cursed antihero is now searching for vengeance as he attempts to recover his shattered memory. Great slabs of past-tense narration and weighty dialogue gradually reveal a struggle for power in which Kain is a mere pawn. Blood Omen 2 was crafted by people with great respect for the vampire mythos, so perhaps its inevitable that some of the dialogue is a bit over the top.
