The Safari Passenger Van is available in both a 2WD and AWD model. The Safari comes in three trim levels - SL, SLE and SLT. GMC has increased the size of the gas tank from 25-gallons to 27-gallons. Battery Rundown protection, Retained Accessory Power and power locks are new standard features on all GMC Safaris. Other standard features include air conditioning, a rear heater, eight-passenger seating, center and rear removable seats and a Brake/Transmission Shift Interlock. Optional on the SLE or SLT is seven-passenger seating that includes four-bucket seats and a removable rear bench seat. Other available options include a Homelink Transmitter, headphone jacks and controls, a locking rear differential and an optional rear axle ratio.
