There are so many job sites out there…which one is best? Well I don’t think that there is one “best” site that you can use. I have used several, and have found Jobtrak to be the best for college students and unexperienced hires. I first used it when I was looking for a job when I was first leaving college. My school has its own resources to use but I wanted a job outside of Ohio. I posted my resume, sent it out to a few employers, and true enough I got hits and interviews scheduled.
Jobtrak is a well-organized site that has all of the usual features. As I stated earlier the site is geared towards undergraduate as well as graduate students. Jobtrak actually links up with schools so that there are resources specific to your school. When I first used it you needed a gateway password to get on. After this you will find numerous listings that are primarily unexperienced or little experienced jobs. The only problem is that there are way too many Enterprise Car job listings on the site. There is plenty of job advice, again geared towards us youngins. What is wrong with this site? Not much. Actually the site has improved there more experienced job listings. The format has been updated and it is easy to use (and it doesn’t have that obnoxious Monster logo).
This site gets the ultimate thumbs up for me because eventually I got my job from Jobtrak. It has good information and it is easy to navigate.
