Like Yahoo Careers, Career Builder offers advice on job hunting, cover letters, resumes, job interviews, and negotiating job offers. The site delves deeply into these topics, for example, in the job interviews section, there a links to five sites covering various aspects of the job interviewing process.
The job search mechanism on this site allows you to search various employment fields as well as other jobsites. For example, job listings from MSN Careers, Career City, America's Job Bank and numerous others are available at Career Builder. This is a nice added touch that will save you time in your internet job search.
Another site feature allows you to view all companies hiring at the moment. The organizations are divided by state and then the jobs offered are sorted by profession, i.e. accounting, information technology, etc.
For those already in the workforce, Career Builder offers articles on dealing with office politics, negotiating a better salary, and getting ahead.
Overall, Career Builder is a useful tool for dealing with the work place.
