Okay, if you REALLY want to know. I'm a software engineer and writer who lives and works in the heart of Silicon Valley. I published a couple of books in the mid-80's (Practical AppleWorks Uses, and Advanced Excel Solutions), with Sybex Computer Books, and have also written many, many user manuals for various companies and quite a few articles for computer-related publications such as MacWorld and Computer Currents. On the software engineering side, I have worked on a never-ending line of internal tools and databases for various companies. In 1999 I was awarded a patent for one of my inventions that involved authoring interactive help systems. I love technology and computers, but I don't do Windows.
