me: I am a high-tech pre-med student at UCSD. Technology, computers, cars, music, turtles, and other things :) are all things I like to do in my spare time. web-design: I do this in my spare time, and have produced a few pages. I currently work as the assistant webmaster at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and am responsible for site design [here]. who's herman: Herman is my baby Hermanns tortoise (testudo hermanni). He was born on an arbitrary date (7/4/00) since when I received him I knew he was about 3 months old. Though he is very young, he still has much character. Against popular belief, he does not smell :). This turtle is very intelligent and can recognize certain stimuli and associate them to certain responses. I have made a website for him as well [here]. my car: This machine is a 1989 Acura Legend Coupe 2.7L V6. I care for it very well and so far, though it has about 185,000 miles on it, still drives very well. I have spent a lot of time modifying it, installing stereo equipment, and maintaining it with lots of money (arg). wish me luck: I am currently in the process of applying to medical school. my reviews: My reviews are predominantly focused around techology products, but once in a while I'll take a dab in some other categories. I hope my reviews have helped you to choose or not choose certain products. If I have accomplished that, then I have done my job. If you have any questions my rating process: I do not rate on some kind of formula like a lot other members like to do. I base my rating on two main variables: - entertainment value: if I didn't enjoy reading it, why would I like it? - content value: completeness of the review, whether it was composed in a bout of emotion, stuff like that. A review must accurately assess a product or service. Usefulness would also fit into this variable. So if you feel that I rated your review unfairly because of my own impressions, please contact me and I will take a second look at it. |
