I’ve procrastinated as long as I could. Writing is not easy for me, and writing about myself is doubly hard. Particularly since I have no idea who I am. It is a mystery to all those around me. “Tis a puzzlement!” as Yul said. If you read my reviews, know that comedy is not my forte. I think I wore out my funny bone in the classroom.
I am a newly retired elementary teacher married for 35 years to a retired principal. I miss my students and my classroom very much. Teaching is my greatest passion. My greatest accomplishments are my 2 daughters, Susan and Denise. My greatest joys are my 2 granddaughters, Stefani and Rhiannon. At this time I am trying to figure out what I want to do now that I have grown up. Experience new things and wild adventure, I guess. Would you believe I took my first plane ride at this ripe ( and I do mean RIPE) old age? In the spring I am off to Scotland and Ireland for that adventure. My interests (or in other words-my addictions)
My Sunday is totally ruined if I don’t get to try the New York Times crossword puzzle. I say try because it has either gotten harder or I’ve gotten dumber.
I love:
logic problems and jigsaw puzzles
computer adventure games
anything blue
refinishing furniture and crafts-Look out, Martha Stewart!
Entenmann’s chocolate donuts or any thing chocolate
perennial flowers and gardening
Jelly Bellies
dancing
Now that I am retired, I will enjoy reading more. No more papers to correct. Thanks to Jean Auel, I particularly like the prehistoric genre.
I have been known to shop until I’ve had to crawl home.
I would love my profile page to have all those cute animations, but I haven’t a clue as to how. I am the original computer dummy. I read a review by some expert that explained how to add color etc. I KNOW my limitations. It was over my head.
