After several years, I'm ready to get back into the martial arts - I have about 3 years' prior experience in Minami Ryu JuJitsu, and now want to get into Aikido.
I had to give up actively learning German after Katrina, but I do try to keep in practice so I don't forget so much of it.
I was finally able to visit the woman I love in Indonesia last year, and I'm doing whatever I can to make sure she can get a visa to be with me. Any extra suggestions would be appreciated :)
On the music side of things, I took piano lessons for about 5 years total (not that it shows...), and have been playing guitar on and off since 1991, and bass guitar since about the middle of 2000. While I don't play much piano anymore, that's where I learned pretty much all of my music theory, so it was definitely worthwhile, and helped as I was learning how to play guitar.
