I live in southern California. I am a writer, visual artist and student majoring in Microbiology. I'm into movies, video games, books, cooking, traveling, poetry, art, photography, and camping, to name a few things. I am also a volunteer literacy tutor...I tutor a functionally illiterate adult twice a week. It's probably the most rewarding thing I've ever done in my life.
I also love animals. My favorite dogs are pugs...they are little clowns. They have funny faces and very distinct personalities. They are highly intelligent and definitely lap dogs.
SAVE A LIFE...GET YOUR PET FROM A SHELTER OR A RESCUE ORGANIZATION! If you want a pure-bred, shelters are filled with them. Most breeds of dogs have rescue organizations set up for them and the dogs are available for a fraction of the cost of buying them from a breeder. The best part is, if you don't get a puppy, you don't have to do the house training! Don't forget that many people say that mutts make the best dogs. It is a known fact that mutts seem to have fewer health problems/breed specific diseases.
