Im an Alaskan born Aleut & thanks to my, blond Danish Grandmother
I'm a blond Aleut, who's a wee bit Danish...
(or a, "blond, Danish Aleut..." according to my Gram.)
(I never promised anything interesting...)
More Bore About Me??? Hhmmm... Lets See...
I'm handy with power tools (I actually like 'em!) & garden tools.
I'm most often on the PC, building or creating some sort of wild idea or out gardening. Other times I'm into reading (anything & everything,) crafting (or other art stuff,) tending to the family or the critters or
just plain ol' pooped, from all the above!
A Proud Mother of 3 remarkable kids.
2 just graduated, "With Honors," At the top of their class... (2001)
Heather, age 18, is away for her 1st year of College, in Montana,
"Spreading Her Wings..." & I really miss her!
Justin, age 18, is my "Audio Technician,"
he's also quite skilled at water craft sports, (ok... My hubby too...)
Michael, age 12, is into Play Station, Nintendo & Grandma...
He "Wants," to ride the water craft "alone..."
I have a soft spot for animals & babies,
(or "Anything," unable to defend itself.)
I've tended to more lost, lonely, abandoned
or neglected animals than I dare count.
I'm the 2nd child of 13 total. Presently were, 8 Girls & 3 Boys plus
1 brother who died of SIDS before I was 2 & a brother
I hope to find someday, was adopted out at birth, Seattle, 1972...)
Both of my boys are ADD, (well, 1 is ADD the other is "Very," ADHD.)
Both are wonderfully intelligent, creative & amazing.
I am also ADHD myself, so you might say, "I know it coming & going!" I've lived with it a long time, (looks like it'll be even longer still.)
We've learned to deal, with it, not to blame it or to use it as an excuse
(well
we "try
")
Now, I know I'm no, "Einstein..." But, I'm no idiot either...
(It just took me a while to realize this...)
You see... There is actually a light bulb (or 2) on upstairs... Really!
OK... So they were there all along... (I just didn't know how to turn 'em on...)
I now know, I am smart!
(smart enough for me, at least...)
Wow! What an unusual concept at this stage in life!
Frequently, ADHD (ADD) people aren't dumb,
most times it's the opposite.
Our brains travel too fast for us to be able to grab hold of everything when we should, as its "running" on through, ...
It's proven... We Are very Smart! We just have to learn,
(& practice, practice, practice)
to catch hold of & utilize all that zips through upstairs!
Once that happens...
Everybody stand back!
