Update: July 16, 2009. My mother died on June 30, 2009 at the age of 81. She was the REAL daughter of a Civil War Veteran and quite a special woman and mother. I was very lucky to have her as my mother and will forever miss her. A mother's guidance is something very precious.

Update: May 10, 2009. Mother's Day. My youngest daughter, Jennifer, had asked me several days ago what I'd like for Mother's Day. I told her I wanted nothing more than to have someone install my new kitchen sink, faucet, and connect my router. She brought her husband, Matt, over and he made my Mother's Day a good one.

I'm x number of years old, been there, done that and don't want to do it again! :) I enjoy reading, being on the computer, sewing, visiting my children and grandchildren. I've also discovered I love to travel and hope to do more of it.
I've been to Scotland twice...many different places in Scotland and many castles, Norway...cover your ears when they sing their National Anthem, England (was in downtown London twice to two different shows/plays, chatted with Fergie's sister, saw Camilla, stayed in Manchester, was in Liverpool, Blackpool, went to THE TEDDY BEAR'S PICNIC, the Edinburgh TATTOO, plus other places), and Tenerife....one of the Canary Islands. Having seen other countries and talked to the people there, it certainly widens your horizons and your MIND.
I'm not a good cook but I do love to shop!
