Calling it Quits!

Sorry people but with Epinions dropping our penny a view plan I have decided to stop writing.  I will continue to read and rate when I can, and you never know if customer support stays the way it is you may see one of my custom rants here or there. 

Epinions has grown to a point now where it is just not worth writing. I think the next step will be that they will discontinue counting the non member hits when calculating the income share.  In our best interest of course.

I am one of the few who will admit that I am in this program for the money.  The monthly checks were quite a nice bonus.   With my new schedule I just don't have time to write.  Some of you already know that I am saving up to buy a home and have had to work many extra hours to make it come true.  It is true however that I really enjoyed writing these reviews and I thoroughly enjoyed reading yours.

I want to thank everyone who has read and rated my stuff in the time I have been here.  There are tons of great writers here and I am sure many more to come.  I wish you all the best of luck.

Destinys-Child

I know its a pretty strange transition going from a computer repair tech to a newspaper man, but actually while I was working for the computer shop I was actually volunteering (20 hours a week) at the newspaper FOR FREE!  They actually would not hire me because of lack of experience, but after telling them that I would work for free until I proved myself I was made a part time employee for 18 months before actually landing a full time pay position.  After 2 years of that I was made head of the Arts & Entertainment division of the paper, on top of being the new movie review person after the last person retired.  It goes to show that hard work and a little sacrifice can go a long way to earning what you want

My job is stated above and I am actually a fan or Rock/Metal.  Hip Hop, Rap and Country actually drive me up a wall.   The name Destinys-Child came about 5+ years ago when I needed a logon name for some service.  It was later used as my AOL name and then as my ISP name.  I made up the name long before the group became public and my only dread is that it is named after a hip hop band and not a metal band.
