About FSUTrill
|
I grew up in Newnan, GA (Class of '87)- now a pretty nice town, but back in the 80's, it was a teenage WASTELAND! No movie theater, no roller skating rink, and a bunch of old people complaining about the young people- ah, the memories!
I went on the FSU, marched in the band, and got to go to some REALLY neat bowl games (Fiesta and Sugar). I graduated in 1991 with a degree in Music Education (go Noles!).
I have been married for 9 years to a man who was a grad student in the music school, and actually deemed me worthy to speak to- me, a lowly undergrad! ;-)
I taught elementary school for 8 years- 7 of those in music and one in Kindergarten. I also was an administrator for one year- then I got pregnant with my daughter. I am now a stay at home mom to my 9 yr old son, 4 year old daughter, and baby. My goal as a parent is to ENJOY my kids!
I try to read as many Epinions as I can in a day and leave comments as much as possible. I look forward to reading yours! Here is how I rate- First I try to put myself in the frame of mind of someone who knows NOTHING about the product. Then I look for a catchy title (not necessary, but draws me in, even if I have NO interest in the product being reviewed). After I read an article, I rate- Highly Recommended- If I know nothing about the product and read an opinion that leaves me with no questions, I get a clear picture of the product's strengths and weaknesses, and am able to make a decision without needing further information, it's an HR. Sparkle helps, but isn't completely necessary. Good grammar and spelling are more important to me on product reviews than editorials- if an editorial grabs at my heart, the grammar isn't as important. Recommended- those opinions that provide basic information and answer some questions, but leave me with some unanswered questions. Somewhat Recommended- these are opinions that give the author's feelings about the product, but don't give concrete information. Not Recommended- these are opinions with gratuitous profanity or sexual references, repetitive phrases, or blatant attacks on individuals or races. I also give NR's for using referral links in a review, being off topic, or being in the wrong category. If that should happen, I will leave a comment as to why I rated a particular way, because sometimes mistakes are made. If it's corrected, I am more than happy to go back and re-rate.
