I joined Epinions.com over a year ago just to try out the site, and I found out that it was kinda comfy around here. Naturally, I decided to stick around.
Music is my passion in life, period. I have a pretty extensive background which includes 10 years of band in school. I played trombone for a year and a half and switched to french horn thereafter. I also played trumpet briefly at the request of the director. I've been selected to honors band and county band- and occupied first chair in the horn section for most of my natural life.
Oddly enough, my professional experience does not reflect this. I have an AST in Pharmacy (Ph.T) and briefly went to college for journalism. Writing words is great, and writing about music is peachy too...but when I get to where I want to be, I'll be writing the music in the first place. I hope to return to college this fall and major in music education. My dream job is to someday conduct an orchestra with the music that I've written.
I really, really enjoy writing reviews here because it keeps the fire alive for me. Your feedback has pushed me to improve a massive amount since I started. Please keep the comments coming, I love the interaction and hopefully I'll keep on improving until I condsider the reviews I write impeccable. Thanks for stopping by! -K
