Update 07/2002: I have been away from Epinions for a while--too many things have been going on, and I simply have not had time or energy to devote to writing quality reviews. However, since I have always found writing reviews for this website very enjoyable, hopefully I will have more time to do it now. Let's give it another try, shall we?..

A little bit about me...

I am originally from Kaunas, Lithuania--I moved to Colorado with my family in 1994, when I was 15 years old. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Colorado in Boulder and currently working toward my MBA degree (at CU-Boulder as well)-- I have 1 year left, and I can't wait to get out of school for good.

In my spare time (which I increasingly have less and less of), my biggest passion is skiing. I am training for my private pilot's license--I fly a Cessna 172 out of Jefferson County Airport, right outside of Denver (a very exciting, albeit expensive hobby.) I also love attending concerts, going to the movies, and learning new languages (I speak five). And, of course, since I discovered Epinions a little while ago, seems like I found a new hobby!

A few of my favorites, picked at random...

Favorite music: Dire Straits, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Doors, Fleetwood Mac, Poison, Alice Cooper and Def Leppard. Not to mention Sarah McLachlan, Nirvana, Indigo Girls and REM. Not necessarily in that order.

Favorite movies: anything directed by Kevin Smith, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Star Wars (all of them), Princess Bride, Breakfast Club, Wedding Singer, the Die Hard trilogy, oh and not to forget my obsession: the Labyrinth (yes, the one with David Bowie. Don't ask.)

Favorite books: Les Miserables, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Alice in Wonderland, Cuckoo's Egg, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Count of Monte Kristo and probably a dozen others.
