It probably fits that I like to write reviews because I work for a company that publishes magazines. I've been with the company since it started (was one of the first five employees) so I've done just about every job in the company from managing IS to distributing the mail to being an executive.
Before I joined my current company I was a product manager for a now defunct consumer software company, before that I was a computer consultant, and before that - in the dark ages - I was a lawyer with a law firm. Because I've had so many jobs in the computer/software industry I've had a chance to test out and try a lot of products. That means my opinion is usually based on a lot of experience with alternatives and a lot of history in the industry.
I also like to read (lots and lots), play musical instruments (sax, clarinet guitar), record midi and surf the net. I don't watch much TV.
