I am a freelance writer and entertainment journalist living and working in Los Angeles, where I write for a number of local and national publications. My first book, Homocore: The Loud and Raucous Rise of Queer Rock, was recently published in August 2005 by Alyson Books. My main interests are music, movies, theater, television and books, and I have a special affinity for entertainment that makes some kind of statement about humanity and the human experience, though I have very eclectic tastes in what I like.
