What's up, all. My name's Chris. I'm eighteen years old and a freshman at Grove City College, PA. But enough about me. Let's talk about... well, me some more, I guess.
Music is pretty much my favorite thing ever, both for listening and playing (I play drums, piano, guitar, and, yes, accordion). Consequently, most of the reviews that I write will probably be on CDs. Most of the music I listen to is a little obscure, or at least not Top 40. Alternative rock and indie are words used to describe my tastes. Examples: Digby, the Decemberists, the Hives, Modest Mouse, the White Stripes, Hot Hot Heat. And of course the Beatles will always have a special place in my heart. I try to write reviews on every CD I get, because more reviews means more money, and I'm a poor college student! Yay!
I'll try to keep it diverse here, though. If I see a movie that is good/bad enough for me to praise/warn about, I'll let you know. Perhaps a few PC and video game reviews will get thrown in here, too.
But keep in mind: I am generally an optimist. If I like something, I may overly praise it. So be wary when reading reviews and be sure to check out what other people are saying about the products. On the flip side, if I don't recommend something, you'll know to steer clear.
As a closing note, don't judge me on my earlier reviews. I joined this site when I was in 7th grade, so go easy on anything written before 2005.
