Who am I?
This who am I thing turns out to be more difficult than I thought it would be. My first impulse was just to say: "I'm a writer." But what about mom, wife, neighbor and friend? And where does over-the-top Seinfeld fan fit in? And how about the addicted to New York City part of the equation?
Who am I? is a tough question. After mulling it over for a month, I think the quick answer is: Pretty typical Boomer female. I have woven in and out of the job market with breaks to care for young children and elderly parents. I have been a freelance writer, street peddler, assistant buyer at the old Abercrombie and Fitch, teacher, litigation paralegal, writer again, editor, and writer a third time. I have also been a wildly unsuccessful encyclopedia salesperson and a cataloger at the Adirondack Museum.
Remember being a new member?
Me too. I have maybe 5 hits on my first reviews; some have less than that. Whew! It's a struggle to get started. So, I'd like to add to links to new reviewers who are doing fine work.
Here is the first. He's a fine writer and is working hard at becoming a great Epinionator. He happens to appear in my profile picture, too. (bottom left)
