On 10/20/2001 I was playing with my husband and daughter at the park and stumbled, breaking the two lower leg bones at the ankle. I have had surgery and will have more before I can put any weight on that leg. Everything is within reach in my little house, except the computer, so I am unhappily away from Epinions for the time being. Everyone be good while I heal.
I've been around long enough to know what I like, but am willing to try new things, too. I have traveled a bit, but always enjoy returning home to care for my home and garden. 
News from Washington DC is that my backyard has been certified as Backyard Wildlife Habitat #30121!
I enjoy seeing my three kids (age 3, 17 and 20) gradually sprout their own wings and I'm ALWAYS trying to find time to relax or find adventures with my husband...
My ratings have nothing to do with whether I agree with you. I look for examples which support your opinion, and enjoy personal anecdotes (please! make me laugh!). I'm a real nit-picker for correct punctuation and grammar...if your story is engaging I will overlook minor errors, but if I can't get to the meaning or feel of your piece because of atrocious spelling, I'll reserve my VHs for writers who take a bit more care.
