My take on ratings: Don't be so casual!
Think of this when you make your opinion ratings. If you rate an opinion as Highly Recommended, you are stating to the Epinions community that this review was so compelling to you that it would prompt you to send an email to your friend and say "Man, you just gotta check out this review on Epinions."
Think of how many opinions you have rated as Highly Recommended and then think of how many might actually merit the response described above.

Skadar rates 'em as Skadar sees 'em. I try to be an honest rater of epinions, and I trust that you will be too.
I've lived in a bunch of different places and worked as a technical support representative for the CompuServe network, a fisheries biologist on a fishing vessel in the Bering Sea, and an environmental engineer for the United States Environmental Protection Agency in New York City.
I recently purchased a used Yamaha Zuma II scooter that I have been having a lot of fun with. I must admit that I am now longing for a larger bike. Maybe next summer I can get a Honda Shadow. Who knows?
If you haven't heard of Skiboarding you are missing out. Learn about it, now! I predict that skiboarding will surpass skiing within 10 years. Everyone will be doing it and it will make the cover of Time and Newsweek magazines as the "Hot Winter Sport".
