My ratings are strict when it comes to reviews in Computers & Internet because I have more knowledge about those items, so I read everything carefully. For everything else, they are OK, but sometimes can be strict, because I expect the writer to explain everything to me. I am not really the person who relies on the rating criteria Epinions has provided. Sometimes I find that a opinion is a great deal of help, but it is not well-presented...but it still deserves a VH. I try and leave suggestions for improvements.

I am not the kind of person who will reply to your emails, just because I am too busy hanging out here and reading and writing reviews. I also work. Though I do read every single email I get. Neither do I email someone when they trust me. But I do read a couple of their reviews, check out others in their WOT's and read their reviews.

I am not the kind of person who does revenge ratings. If you leave me a SH, I will not come out there and rate all your reviews SH, infact, I probably would end up giving it a VH. I don't like revenge ratings either. If my review gets revenge rated, I simply add the person to my WOD. Doesn't make a difference to me.

I trust people who are active in the community and write interesting reviews. (duh!) I check everyone's reviews in my WOT at least once a month. I also check the WOT of the person on my WOT, because I feel that it is important for that person to trust good reviewers, in order for me to trust them. I also clear my WOD often, because some members do change.

I always return the ratings of someone. If someone rates my opinion, I always rate their's too. This doesn't mean that if they rated mine VH, I rate their's VH too. By rating my opinion, they only build awareness. Their review rating is totally dependent on the quality of their review.
