Pros: cheap cheap cheap Cons: can be a hassle
Cheap tickets is wonderful, kind of. While I can't really recommend the website(or any travel site), but what I do recommend is calling them on the telephone, it is much easier than the internet(which I've found for most travel sites, less confusing)...

Pros: Easy access thru the internet, fast delivery of tickets, good service. Cons: I would like to see more airline choices, but that is not cheap tickets fault.

This site has horrible customer service. My husband and I literally spent hours and hours trying to sort out a difficulty in ticketing. I will NEVER, EVER use this site again. Go to Orbitz! They answered their customer service line in less than 2...

Cheap Tickets / Orbitz SCAM! Double Charge!

Booked with orbitz.com (owned by same company as cheaptickets.com) and was double billed, once by orbitz.com and once by cheaptickets.com. Luckly I have never, NEVER created an account or used cheaptickets.com... something that will likely have to come out in court, as both refuse to refund the full value of one of the bookings. The companies claim I created two exact same reservations exactly 30 minutes apart. I have been fighting this battle with my credit card company and orbitz/cheaptickets since 9/2/07 (now 2/2/07) and have gotten only a partial refund (less one night rate of $80.57 on the original $563.96). I WILL NEVER USE ORBITZ, CHEAPTICKETS, or any other site owned by the Blackstone Group. Do a search on google for orbitz "double charged" ... you'll get 7 pages of people screwed by the company!

I had no problem with this site. Even when Delta changed my return flight and I had to contact customer service (on New Years Day). The rep I spoke with was very polite and understanding on why I wanted to change my return flight. I will definatly check their site the next time.

Nightmare for Christmas - Cancellations and No Communication

We are American military living overseas and bought tickets in March to go home to Chicago for Christmas. When I went to print out my itinerary on Nov 25 the trip was vanished (at least one way). When I called they told me they had cancelled the tickets - unbeknownst to me, with no refund. I have called and spoken to supervisers for 6 days straight with no resolution and no refund. I called British Airways myself and they told me that the tickets were cancelled because CheapTickets did not turn the ticket numbers in by the deadline. This is not a travel agency but an utter and abominable shame to travel agents all over the world. Buyer beware and go elsewhere.

This company is worthless. They've charged the credit card for hotel reservations (twice) and when we called the hotel to verify that the room really existed ... it didn't! No following up with us (the customer), no warnings, no nothing. They take the money and run. If you want your vacation screwed up beyond all recognition, use this company. Otherwise, go elsewhere or do it yourself. Oh yeah, the AAA discount is cheaper, too.

i bought a round trip ticket to Thailand ... i was very skeptical after reading some reviews but, for me everything went smoothly.. received my tickets quickly w/o any hassles. No complaints.. the trip was awesome!

Cheaptickets is horrible!

Cheaptickets is HORRIBLE! First, their website books me two rooms (and I only wanted one). I wrote their customer service, but they said I had to call to cancel the other room. I had to call and write them muliple times before the room was cancelled. I was told I now only had the one room reserved.
When I arrive at my destination, the hotel tells me they don't have a reservation for me! I was furious! They had one room left, a small, smoking room, so I had to take it! I can't believe it! What a joke! They ruined my vacation.

CheapTickets is a terrible company. While their prices may be cheaper than other sites by $20, nothing after that is worth it. They can change your reservations with no notice whatsoever. We showed up at our hotel in Mexico, met the cheaptickets rep and found out we couldnt stay their. After waiting an hour, plus a 20 minute drive, we were taken to a lesser hotel with an older crowd. We were promised a room upgrade due to our situation. They took that away. Had to complain and wait 2 more hours to get a room. Someone elses room with their stuff in it. Then had to wait again for our own room. Yadda yadda. Sucked.
The Cheaptickets rep was supposed to set up our trip from the hotel to the airport. Oh wait, they couldn't do that either. And we were told tough luck.
Tried to complain to cheaptickets.com. Well it has been over a month with no resolution to my disputes. Customer service is a bunch of robots with the exact same responses. They kept promising that they would get back to me. Still haven't. Will never use them again.
