When I ordered the 3com hub it was supposed to be "in stock". 13 days later, I still have not received the item, and no one answers the phone at the 800 number. I am very dissatisfied, and will never order from CompuVest again.

i havent got the hard drive i have ordered yet. no one answers the phone at the customer service. it asks me to leave the order number and that they wud call me back in 1/2 hr. it been 2 days and still no call.
These are simply crooks. How any human can work for this crooked company is beyond me. I bought a refurbished computer (HP media center) which was DOA. I sent it back because they told me to and then they said it was fine. WRONG! Two beeps says that the power supply was defective. Of course their tech. said it was fine. What a bunch of crooks! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS

I ordered a 15" laptop that was posted on their web. They waited a whole day to let me know that they do not have this laptop and it was advertised by mistake. They were so sorry.. Beware!! before ordering anything from this company, you may get the surprise of your life.Very bad business relations

Order an Sandisk e280 MP3 player from them.
Requested and paid for UPS shipping. Checked order a few days later and saw that CompuVest shipped it USPS instead. Checked USPS tracking and they claimed delivery that day but I didn't get the unit.
Waited a day and nothing so I emailed CompuVest to ask them to track down the shipment but didn't hear anything from them. After another day, the unit finally showed up and it was in working order but so far, after a week, I still haven't heard anything from CompuVest customer service. Not even a "we got your email and am going look into it" auto-response.
Summary: Terrible customer service but decent prices and product was finally delivered in working condition. Probably would not order from them again unless they were the only retailer to have inventory.

I ordered an item, and realized it was the wrong thing. I canceled (by following the instructions on the site) and they still shipped it anyway and said I could "return" it for a restocking fee! I canceled it right after I ordered it. Compuvest needs to update the site so that orders can be canceled. And the restocking fee is unfair. I followed your directions and still got messed over! Do not buy from this site if you want to be treated fairly.
Compuvest had exactly what we were looking for at a great price. We've purchased from them several times in the past and have always been very satisfied with their selection, prices, and prompt delivery. Good merchant, was little apprehensive in the beginning but after a phone call to cancel one accessary and the friendly voice at the other end did the trick, received the product yesterday and worked like it was supposed to.
They did not try to mislead, fulfilled their promise. I will infact shop again at Compuvest when the need arise in the near future. Read more

My first refurburshed camera from this vendor was defective. I sent it back for a full credit, and ordered another one of the same model and got it quickly. Hopefully this one will hold up. I believe it's a manufacturer problem, but I have accessories for this model, so I'm not giving up. My original camera that I bought new is back at the maker's for repair and I was tired of living without a camera.
