Pros: none Cons: lousy service...paid extra for FEDEX delivery but never received the package
Lack of follow up customer is treated poorly, they did not go the extra mile. Fairs were the same as airlines sites and they didn't offer e-ticketing. Booked a reservation on July 2, flight on July 9th. Paid extra for FEDEX delivery. July 6 no...

Pros: Southwest Airlines is included in the flight search. Cons: Smaller/regional airlines not included in the flight search.
I subscribe to both Travelocity and Orbitz. Orbitz is the hands-down winner.
First, Travelocity doesn't seem to want to acknowledge Southwest Airlines (the airline with the best crash record) even exists. Orbitz lets you book flights through...

Pros: Comprehensive, easy to navigate, very low fares. Cons: None that I have encountered.
I recently visited Orbitz to check out fares for upcoming holiday travel. Thinking that I would be in for hours of searching for the lowest fares, I braced myself for spending some quality time with my computer. The first thing I noticed was the flight...

Pros: Options! Options! Options! Easy to use! Cons: None
Just flew back from New York this past weekend and opened up the Continental inflight magazine and saw the ad for the highly anticipated "Orbitz" service i've been hearing about. What's great about Orbitz is the fact that they have all the top airlines...

Eiks, big mistake. Booked a hotel in NYC for my two daughters that looked presentable on the Orbitz site. Upon arrival, the hotel was dingy, the front door was just a door in a wall with a buzzer to gain entrance. Upon inspection of a smoke filled dingy ...

Pros: Extremely easy to use and terrific customer service Cons: None in my opinion
I recently had such a terrific experience with Orbitz.com that I wanted to share it with others.
Over the years I've used a number of the online travel websites - Travelocity, Expedia, Priceline, Hotwire, etc.. Never have I experienced...

We made reservations with Orbitz for a 3 night stay at Ventura Resort Rentals in Orlando, FL in late August, 2007. The pictures and description of the property were misleading and inaccurate - the actual property was "well worn", consisting of a second ...

After searching all the travel sites I could come up with, I tried Orbitz. The flight I wanted on many other sites for 2 people, round trip, from Nashville to Orlando was ranging in price from 219 - 256 per person. I went to Orbitz and got it for 220 for...

Pros: great prices not available elsewhere Cons: prices may not stay low in the future,
can't edit reservation once booked
Though there's been lots of controversy about the new multi-airline site, Orbitz, I was very pleased with the prices and routes available. We were looking for three seats for a short family trip, but found no low cost fares at reasonable times on...

Pros: Lowest fares, customer care emails, easy to use search engine, interesting travel information provided Cons: none
I have used many travel websites for researching and eventually purchasing tickets for travel - in fact I don't even bother to purchase offline anymore - and Orbitz has offered the lowest fares and best customer services by far. I haven't been happy with...

Website is easy to use, and the most straightforward I found; none of those silly "you can't see the flight you're getting until you've purchased it" tricks or "must be flying at godawful hours" requirements. I like the format they use when looking at...

Pros: easiest site I've used--just click to change part of your search Cons: with a broad search it may take up to a minute to display choices
I've used just about all the site for my plane travel arrangements. I've found orbitz to be simple in making sometimes difficult trips. You can make simple round-trip trips or one-ways and multi-city trips as well. I often can travel on a choice of...

Pros: Does it all with good service and support Cons: Sometimes hard to get access, average prices on flights, poor on rentals
I recently used Orbitz for the first time. After using another service for years I thought I would try it out. I was not impressed with the site initially. It was slow and hard to get a page without refreshing several times. It was improved a few...
