Proflowers is the worst; their flowers do not last
by jc6789 ,May 17 '06
I made 2 orders and both were the ugliest flowers I've ever seen. They did not last for more than 24 hours. They looked nothing like what the pictures showed on the website nor did it contain all the flowers promised in the description. For $60 + $10 for delivery on each order, it was not even worth $10 for both. It looked like something picked from the side of an expressway. It is embarrassing to the recipients to receive something so cheap looking. I think they count on the sender never seeing the flowers that were sent because. If I could, I would've attached the picture of what I ordered and what I got. But, they were delivered on time.

Beware of PROFLOWERS.COM
by dacarr ,Oct 04 '09
Ordered flowers for Valentines Day did not know they would be delivered via UPS in a sealed brown box all squished and not arranged. Also didnt think they would commit credit card fraud and bill my credit card $14.95 every month for a "membership" fee. Beware. Do an internert search (like I should have done) and you will find 100's of complaints.

worst in my life
by docnomee ,Feb 14 '09
This is has been the worst experience of my life and it is all because of the inept and inefficient service you provide that has messed up the whole day for me and my wife. I ordered express delivery to get to my wife for feb 13th just so that I will avoid the feb 14th rush.it never got there and just imagine that this is our first valentine's day.whole day your customer service keep telling me that this is in process.AT the end of the day Ms Patt told me that it cannot be delivered today and she will upgrade and send and apology note . NOw today i.e 14th of feb at 5pm you guys told me that it was never even ordered to the florist and that they have no order to deliver as none was placed. Now If you can please tell me who is responsible and how can you compensate it. Is just a refund enough? would you take it? if will not get the response i will leave as many negative responses as I can on all the review websites about your service.

They accepted payment for a service they failed to deliver.
by kcbradygirl ,Feb 14 '07
They failed to deliver a Valentine's order on Valentine's day, chalking it up to 'Weather Problems.' While I can understand weather problems, there is no excuse for them not contacting the customer and telling them they will have a delay, and then trying to make it right.
This company deserves to go out of business if this is what they consider to be 'service.' I hope they are enjoying their Valentine's day!

Fast friendly service
by trueblue1620 ,Mar 26 '04
Recently sent a dozen plus irises to a friend in another state. They arrived in the time promised and (according to him)were very pretty/fresh. I looked at lots of sites to find these flowers, even going to the web sites of florists in his city. None matched the price or even came close. The
same 20 iris from a shop on the SAME STREET as my friend
was priced at 69.00!! PLEASE. They're flowers.
The Proflowers web site was easy to navigate and order from. No muss,no fuss. Good tracking and e-mail follow
through. The only 'complaint' I had was the 5 line 40
character minimum for the card. Not easy to edit that
heartfelt message!

Sympathy in a box
by ghfgro ,Apr 03 '08
I was horrified when I saw an email from ProFlowers indicating my order had been successfully delivered by FedEx. A close family friend passed away and since I was out of town and unable to attend the funeral I thought it would be nice gesture to send flowers to the family home. I had no idea ProFlowers doesn't utilize a local florist like FTD and some of the others. The box was delivered on time, but since nobody was home it was left out in the rain and 35 degree weather. This not a way to convey sympathy in the death of a loved one. ProFlowers needs to make their delivery methods more apparent on their website.

Flowers Not Fresh But Replacement Bouquet Is Being Sent
by socal123 ,Jul 29 '07
I ordered blue and yellow irises from ProFlowers for my husband on Tuesday. They arrived very promptly at our home the following day. However, they died about 3 days later, some of the buds had never even opened up although I followed the flower care instructions. I've ordered flowers before from ProFlowers and never had an issue until this batch. I called on Sunday and the customer service rep guaranteed a replacement bouquet to arrive the upcoming Tuesday. We'll see how long these next flowers last, but I am at least happy that they were willing to send a replacement bouquet.

Overwhelmingly Impressed!!
by heismyrock33 ,Feb 20 '07
I have been very pleased with every order I have placed with Proflowers.com. Recently I ordered roses on Valentine's Day and a situation happened after the order was place that couldn't be helped. However, every single representative I spoke with was sincerely kind and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the situation! I was so impressed with this kind of customer service that I will be placing ALL my orders with Proflowers.com! I HIGHLY recommend them to EVERYONE!

Want average arrangements and hidden fees? Order here!
by bradcerenzia ,Feb 20 '07
I ordered a $50 bouquet online and paid an extra fee of $14.99 to have it delivered on Valentine's day. After receiving my bill, I found there was another miscellaneous "service fee" added to my bill for $11.99! WHATEVER. So now I have a nominal bouquet of flowers arriving for almost $80. Next time I'll just do it myself. I think Proflowers is sneaky to add fees like that.

Too late for Mother's Day...
by gnomecaptain ,May 15 '06
On Friday night I ordered flowers to get to my mom on Mother's Day (Sunday). Selected the flowers, went through the whole buying process, and it said they'd arrive on Mother's Day. Everything seemed normal. But as you might guess, they didn't arrive on Sunday. Nope, instead I got this email on MONDAY:
"Dear *****,
Thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately, we are unable to find a florist who is able to deliver on your requested delivery date. We would be happy to send the delivery on 5-16-06 with a note of apology. Please contact customer service at 888-444-1922 to let us know how best to proceed. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Florist Express Customer Service
888-444-1922"
On MONDAY! The day after the flowers should've arrived. I called them, waited 15 minutes, and told them to just send it anyway. I didn't really have a choice. Mother's Day is over, but my mom still deserves flowers.

Proflowers sucks
by billbuck123 ,Feb 15 '07
I ordered roses for my wife for Valantine's Day 2 weeks ahead, and paid a premium for morning delivery. Guess what? It's Valantine's Day 7PM, and no flowers, no help from Proflowers. from now on, i will always use a local florist - areal person i can trust - not a an internet entity that now it's there to tke your money, now it's not to deliver on it's promises.

Wilted flowers and too much work!
by khgreen ,Mar 04 '05
I received roses for Valentines day from Proflowers.com. I received both long stem red roses and 24 assorted friendship roses. The unpacking instructions were too time consuming and my arrangement left a lot to be desired. The mini roses started wilting immediately at about the rate of 2 flowers every six hours or so. The large roses looked nice for about a day. After one day the started wilting and they never opened. I followed all of the instructions that came with the flowers and I was very disappointed.

Beware! Spend your money somewhere else.
by mswogger ,Feb 14 '04
Order somewhere else!!!
I ordered 1 dozen long stem roses with a vase. They stuck me with an extra $2.99 delivery charge for a guaranteed Friday the 13th delivery and then they hit me with a $9.99 Federal Express delivery charge. Little did I know that the FedX delivery was to be made before 3:00 p.m. I wanted the flowers to arrive at her work early in the day so that she could enjoy them and show them off as most women like to do. So after spending $97.00 for a guaranteed delivery, they didn't show up at all. Tried calling them on the phone and of course you can't get through to anyone. I'm hoping for a refund but I'll save that for my next review. Spend your money elsewhere.

ProFlowers - NEVER AGAIN!
by arizonakat ,May 13 '08
I ordered two beautiful bouquets from the website for Mother's Day, one was two dozen assorted roses, the other was described as a 'robust array' of 12 red tulips and 12 blue irises.
The 12 red tulips were 10 near-white premature buds less than an inch in size and the 10 irises were also buds. There were 4 fewer flowers than there should have been, not to mention that no actual flowers were received, just premature unopened buds. The leaves were mangled up & creased, the stems were bruised from the rubberbanding right below the buds. Needless to say, they weren't very attractive, looked nothing like the picture on the website and in fact were downright ugly.
The roses were no better, bent stems from the banding, mangled leaves and the rose petals were already brown-tipped. Both sets of flowers were also shipped dry-stemmed which made them droopy as well as ugly.
I sent an email to ProFlowers.com on 5/9/08 which included pictures of what was received that day directly beside what was advertised and requesting a refund. We are now 5 days without even a response. So, not only crappy flowers, but crappy customer service too.
