Poor support. High percentage of failure on computer components. Difficult to get return authorization. No support to speak of. Bundling of incompatible components into kits. No reponse to E-mail.

This site is NOT trustworthy. Just look at their BBB report. UNSATISFACTORY. Plus they've had an FTC action against them as well. Customer service is a joke. Do NOT buy anything here with a rebate, if you expect to get the rebate. This company has a long pattern of poor customer service and scams. They often ship OEM or used items as new. In my case, I bought an item with an advertised rebate of $70. Not chump change. Three months later I am STILL waiting for it. They don't respond to e-mails and their CS reps are rude. I filed a complaint with the BBB and Tiger Direct lied. They said the offer had expired on a different date than it did. I even provided written proof. These are shady characters and I warn all to avoid

After an awful experience with a Gateway Computer purchased at Tiger Direct, Tiger Direct was wonderful about giving me a refund.  Gateway could learn a thing or twenty from Tiger Direct!!!

Products arrive as advertised, nothing more and nothing less. I was very careful to make sure I wasn't buying a refurbished item thinking I was ordering a new one.

A lot of their low prices are a result of rebates, which you may never get. I'd be very careful counting on the rebate when calculating the total price. And keep copies of anything you send in, you may need to resubmit!

Also, some of their rebates on serviced via onrebate.com. It's very difficult to talk to a person at Onrebate. Onrebate also fails to meet their stated goals of answering emails within a certain time.

They have good price, but you should think over before ordering some items. Actually, I ordered over ten times at this company because of good price. Sometimes they have bad quality items. In my case I returned 4 times which are something wrong, and I got a bad quality item which somebody returned. They don't care of the returned items. they send them again to other people. I think they have lots of clearance items. You should remember that when you return some items, you have to pay shipping fee twice, and must have hard time to return and wait for refund.
Of course, they refund well, taking time.

Summary: You have a 50/50 chance of receiving your item. They pass the buck faster than a game of craps. Watch your invoice and credit card bill, They like to add charges spontaneously. Google them. They have a bad reputation and they earn it.

No price is worth the headache. Use other online dealers like Onecall, Buy.com ,Newegg. Skip Tiger Direct. They are just a calling center in Miami Florida with a bunch of guys just hanging out. Really this is true. Deliver center in Illinois and somewhere else.
They have more managers than you can count on two hands and two feet. They also are “gone to lunch” quite often. You've been warned!!!!!!!!

After I placed my order for two components (PC and monitor), it took over a month to get my PC and over 2 months to get my monitor. As for billing, I paid for the products, shipping and all applicable taxes (plus some, they charged me HST 15% which is applicable to N.S. residents by N.S. retailers and they are located in Ont. which means I should only have been charged only for GST 7%). On top of this, some time after I received my monitor, I was billed for shipping and sales tax again from the shipper (international trade taxes coming from the US to Canada). I have been battling for a month between the shipper and Tigerdirect to get this sorted out and finally received a cheque from Tigerdirect for the amount UPS is charging me. All in all, I have to say, I'll never order from them again. They are slow, incompetent and disorganized.

bought a cheap laptop - cheap but supposed to have battery supply- and the battery charging circuit was completely broken in a week. I got return authorization and shipping label just fine but they end up charge 15% percent restocking fee. I end up paying $100 for trying out a broken computer.

they are bargain hunter's heaven but they sell cheap and crappy stuff. I will never buy a high value item with them anymore. it's a lot better to go in a brick and mortar store shop for laptop.

Would never buy an item offering a rebate from Tiger Direct again. Bought mid August 2006, now early December and have only received one of the promised four rebates. The one directly from the manufacturer arrived, it's now December, still waiting for the three from OnRebate.
TD says contact OnRebate, OnRebate does not answer e-mails and the automated phone system puts you on hold and no one ever answers.
So, shop Tiger Direct if you like, but do not count on receiving the promised rebates.

The monitor was received in good shape and in typical delivery time. However, the rep who took the order was grim. First, he had difficulty finding the desired model eventhough it was on the Tiger web site and I gave him specific information. Second he assured me that shipping would be about $12 then proceeded to charge me $18 and not back off of that number. Third, I was pressed to purchase an extended warranty by him claiming that the manufacturer's warranty was only one year when I knew for a fact that it was for three.

I placed a order with TigerDirect and paid over $100 to have the order shipped in 2 days. All the products I ordered showed to be in stock, but the primary piece I ordered (a rebuilt Desktop) went to back order...I called customer service and it was explainded that the product will be delevered to TigerDirect that day and then will be directly shipped night... this did not happen... They have misrepresented that the product was in stock and then lied that it would be shipped that night...I will likly be filling a BBB report for false advertisement..

Bait & Switch! Horrible CS! Watch them very closely on their infamous rebates. I have found that they put different expiration dates in their catalogue than on the actual rebate! Before ordering make sure all details are correct. Their customer service is completely rude and inflexible. Supervisors are non-existent with only voice mail and no return calls.

The order was placed 8/11/2005.
The shipper damaged the product. I got the refund for the product only, I have to call to get the full refund.
The order was re-shipped, I still don't have the product and it can not be tracked; 9/7/2005.
Customer Service is horrible, nobody wants to help you.

Everything went well, the prices aren't the lowest, but they are average and everything was sent via UPS and arrived on time.

Shopping was easy, delivery on time, it all looked good until the parts didn't fit the PC. I then discovered the big-print 30-day return policy didn't apply to my order. No doubt there is a bit of legal protection on the site that says there are exceptions, but I plan to avoid shopping withTiger Direct again.
