You get what you pay for? bad service!

I have had mostly excellent experiences with Priceline, but only when "making and offer" not on the normal search and buy pages like Orbitz or Travelocity, all three had nearly the same price for a flight from Portland to Kansas City and I picked Priceline. I misspelled the last name on the ticket, I called customer service and it was someone from another country, after about 20 min of trying to get it straight he informed me that they (customer service) can't make any changes at all to tickets, and for me to call the airline.If I wanted to deal with an airline I would of bought the ticket from the airline in the first place. the airline was bad, I never did get it changed after trying to "get through" on the phone to them for days.it all worked out in the end but Priceline was no help at all !I have used them on naming my own price and been very, very happy with the savings and outcome.

Priceline.com customer service great at 866-932-4687 (actual person!!)

Easy to use, prices beat airline site, great customer service once you reach REAL person! (866-925-5373, 866-932-4687, 800-340-0575) For a business function, 15 people traveling together..Our connecting flight time was changed by the airline, not leaving enough time to catch flight. Lowestfare.com (priceline affiliate) had to change flights, but didn't put us all together (had 3 different itineraries because too many people for one!) Finally found an actual phone number for priceline online where I could talk to an actual person and they were awesome, explained the problem and solutions and talked to the airline and got us all back together, no problem!

Customer Service is the Worst - not worth a dollar savings...

Horrendous.  While trying to buy a ticket it wouldn't allow me an option of electronic; only a paper ticket.  I called customer service and the guy was completely unable to help, so I "bit the bullet" and paid for the paper ticket, but put work as my shipping address.  I'm never home when FedEx trys to deliver.  Sure enough they sent it to my home.  FedEx wanted Priceline to reroute, so back to customer service.  They wanted to charge me to reroute even though it was their mistake.  GRRRRR... Customer service SUCKS.  You'd think with the economy the way it is they'd want to do better.  My last priceline experience I assure you.  Contrarily, I've had GREAT customer service with Expedia.  Worth a few dollars more.

Priceline.com failed to notify me when the airlines cancelled their flight. The airline said it was clearly Priceline's responsibility to do so since thay were the booking agent. The airline has a record of the Priceline notification. Priceline denies any responsibility in this matter, which cost me an extra nights lodging and a one way ticket home for my wife. I will never use Priceline again.

Bad customer service, Worst thing ever!

Worst thing you can ever do is use priceline.com, the customer service people are so rude, and they hang up on you all the time. And if you miss you flight or are 5mins late they cancel your whole ticket and do not give you your money back at all or even give you another flight. It’s not worth it; just pay $10 more and use cheap tickets or someone else who will help you if something goes wrong.
