ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLY AWFUL

These guys are liars, cheats, and thieves. My 30 day risk free trial ended on a saturday. They are closed saturdays. So i actually received a 29 day period. I had never logged on, not used their service, cost them nothing and they have charged me for one year of service. I don't want it. They will not close acct and refund. They'll close the account but no refund. Nice way to sucker clients in and get them started on the right foot.

Stamps.com - save your time, money, and aggravation

I just cancelled stamps.com. I am so angry at them.
You have to MAIL in refund requests. There are over $100 in refunds I sent in and never got. When I called they explained that I needed to send all these additional things not just the claim form. There website does not explain that. So, that money is wasted.
Most of the money is there fault because there system kept screwing up international labels. It would charge you for the label, then error out and not print.
Plus because I am in the middle of the billing cycle, they are charging for another month! WHAT!?! The claim that you pay for the prior month so you NEVER get a free month then, do you?!
Oh, but they offered me 20 in free postage. F - - - off!!
Oh, plus you have to CALL to cancel. They are going to send me a $20 check in 4-6 weeks. Ill hold my breath for that.
If I had looked into them better, I would have seen that they have 38,000 complaints on google alone.

Do not use Stamps.com, total rip-off!

Stamps.com is a total rip-off. They charge 15 dollars a months to let you print stamps. Then I canceled my account and I had one misprint of 13 dollars. It took them over a month to refund that amount, but because the account did not exist anymore, they refused to give me back the 13 dollars. Do not go there, ordering stamps online at USPS is better.

i find stamps .com very helpful. The support when you call well that's another thing, not so happy with that. But the product out does the bad service. Hope you don't have to call.

AWFUL!!! TOTAL RIP OFF!!

This company is terrible. The customer service is awful and the fees are a complete rip off. I wanted to cancel after the trial offer and called the customer service center where I waited for 40 minutes before I was hung up on.
I tried to cancel via email and two days later the company replied saying they can't cancel via email, must be by phone. So I called back, again waiting for over 45 minutes. When I requested cancellation they told me that I would be billed for another full month, even though I was canceling just a few days into the billing period. The worst part is they didn't even leave me access to my account through the end of the time I paid for. I was forced to pay through the 20th and they shut off my account on the 5th, which pretty much seams like stealing to me.
TERRIBLE OVERALL EXPERIENCE, I FEEL LIKE I WAS RIPPED OFF!

This review is for all Stamps.com users who spend lot of time doing order entry of contacts manually to print postage stamps.
There are add on tools for Stamps.com to speed the process of entering contacts, Just one click transfers all the contact details accurately, Improves your productivity and eliminates manual data entry.
for Example suppose it takes you 4 min to enter one address into Stamps.com and you normally use to enter 20 addresses a day, so u spend 80 min, using add on tools you can grab the address in one click, you save nearly 80min of your precious time.

CONSUMER FRAUD ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never written a customer review before, but I am compelled to now because stamps.com is SO HORRIBLE.
They are completely MISLEADING about how much you will pay for their services. Their practices border on FRAUD.
It shocked me when I got an $18 charge on my credit card from them when I only bought around $4 worth of stamps. WTF?! Only after I called them on the phone did I realize there WAS a monthly service fee at all!!!
The phone operator said I should've been aware of the fees because it is mentioned on their website. Ha! Good luck finding it in the fine print, buried under paragraphs of text! Never is it up front and in a font that commands the attention it deserves!
The website is SOOOO misleading! If you had to devote that much attention to every service you used, you could drive back and forth from the post office everyday and still have time leftover!
Total ripoff. Totally misleading. I would totally report this horrible company to the better business bureau.

WATCH OUT! You can sign up online but you cannot cancel online. You must call them and go through the hassle of cancelling via one of their representatives. I signed up a year ago, then immediately realized that their service was too much work for what I wanted. I remember cancelling (I could be wrong) but recently discovered that they have been charging my bank account for the last year. Even though they could see that I had never used their service they would not give me a full refund. Granted, I should have been watching my account more carefully but I still felt like I had been scammed. Their representative was very nice and they gave me the maximum refund of 6 months fees but I would just say watch out and don't sign up for their service unless you are really sure you want it.

Do not use - do not get involved with Stamps.com! They take advantage of you! They double charged me every month since I joined - claiming that I must have "mistakingly" opened two separate accounts! (yeah - right!) It was obvious that one of the accounts was NEVER used - but they advised me there was nothing they could do about it. I was a customer for 5 months & they would only reimburse me for 2 months of the overcharge fees stating "that was their policy". THEN - just trying to discontinue my account with them was a nightmare! WHY PAY A MONTHLY SERVICE FEE WHEN YOU CAN USE USPS.COM FOR NO MONTHLY CHARGE!l!l :(

Thanks for the helpful information from these reviews. I was thinking about checking them out but this advice will prevent me from also having a bad experience. I will not be joining.
I was concerned when I could not easily find any pricing information on their web site.

WORST SERVICE - CHARGEBACK NOW

This company provides customer service that is absolutely the worst I have ever experiences. Wait-on-hold times can EXCEED and hour, printing stamps does not work. I sent email to get help and all these useless, waste of air morons could say was I should call their absolutely stupid VRU which keeps you on hold until you finally give up.

Problems with software unhappy with customer service. Would not recomend. Had a hard time stopping service continued to bill after cancellation.
