Most of my international travel before the computer age was done with the help of a travel agent. Mr. Lee, my travel professional, was a very busy man, and he wouldn't take you seriously over the telephone. If you wanted to query how much the airfare ...

Pros: very easy site to use, farewatcher e-mails Cons: not much
I am a big fan of travelocity.com. Whereas most other travel sites are a pain in the a$$ on which to search for flights, travelocity.com is an extremely easy site to navigate and gets you the lowest priced airfare with minimal effort. I've noticed...

Here is what I sent to Travelocity:I purchased a round trip ticket on Friday, July 31, and my Visa was immediately charged. I received an e-mail the following day, saying "flight not available". After fifteen minutes in a conference call ...

Pros: Finds CHEAP fares Cons: 30 minutes on hold for customer service
I LOVE finding great travel deals and I use every tool out there to make sure that I'm always the guy getting the best deal on everything, from plane tickets to rental cars. That means I'm always scanning the travel web sites, that I'm using a...

Pros: Fast and easy way to find air fares Cons: Does not give you the best rate - you can do better elswhere. Could be inaccurate.
Do you really get the best fare possible with Travelocity? The answer is "NO". Fast and easy it is, but often you can get a lower (in some cases a whole lot lower) rate dealing directly with the airlines.
Travelocity flight...

I recently re-enlisted in the Army (I have no idea why still, but that is a WHOLE different story..), and since I am changing my MOS (job) from what I did before, I had to go back to school.
This is not entirely a bad thing, as I do not have...

Pros: FareWatcher, ability to dicker with times for fares Cons: Pretty awful interface, often difficult to find things on the site
How many times have I logged onto Travelocity and stared blankly at the screen, trying to figure out how to log into my account? Of course -- there it is, a teensy little "My Account" text link hiding on the dark blue line amidst the chaos....

Pros: mucho content -- destinations, airlines, travel tips Cons: not enough vacation packages available
Of all of the reviews that I've recently freshened up, I was especially amazed by the dated feel and information of this one -- Travelocity. In retrospect, it kind of makes sense, because Travelocity is one of the oldest sites out there. They've also ...

Pros: Speedy, Easy-to-Use Site Cons: Poor Customer Service, Broken Promises
I've used many internet travel sites for online bookings, but my experiences with this site have been the worst out of all of them. As the main "travel-consultant" for a small company (I make at least 10 reservations a week for various...

Pros: offers alternative, cheaper routes, good customer service Cons: occasionally will miss a flight or fare that can be found on another site
I have used travelocity for the past several years. I use it to check on fares, to keep track of fares to places that I travel to frequently or wish to visit, and to book reservations. I find it to be a very valuable service.
First,...

Pros: CHEAPER AIRFARE ON THE FLIGHT I ALWAYS TAKE! Cons: NONE
One thing I really enjoy doing is getting away from business for a while, and hopping a flight to Las Vegas. I am lucky enough to be on the VIP list of a couple of casinos, so the trip itself costs me only what I decide to spend while I play the slots. I...
