All Advantage was, key word was, the leader in pay to surf programs. You could easily, ten minutes or so, enroll in their program. Once enrolled you download a view bar and start surfing for money. This was great when I signed up because for surfing the net I would get paid $.50 an hour for twenty-five hours a month. I started referring people because I could also make money on the time they spent surfing. I always received my checks and things were going along smooth but all of that has changed. Why?
In June they updated the view bar, for the thirteenth time, and the new view bar continually caused my system to fail. I tried for three weeks to correspond with them by email with no luck. I was getting upset because I only had three days to get my surf time in so that I would be paid for all of my referrals view bar time. I finally called them on the phone and talked to one of their technicians. I was disappointed because they tried to give me a snow job for the first few minutes of our conversation. I then explained that I have been in the IT field for 16 years and that I knew very well what the problems with the new view bar were. I wanted to know when the programmers were going to get the glitch fixed and was informed that they were working around the clock and would have it fixed by the next morning.
True to their word they had it fixed and I was able to earn my fifteen hours so that I could be paid for my referrals. I will add that all of my referrals were new to the program and were having no problems with their view bar. When I had completed my twenty-five hours of surf time I logged into the account section of All Advantage only to discover that they had changed the pay scale.
Now I would only receive $.53 per hour for fifteen hours a month. I would have to earn $30.00 to receive a check now, when I used to only have to earn $20.00 to receive a check. I was also not going to be paid as much for my referrals. I was upset because I had already surfed for twenty-hours but not enough to get discouraged and I continued to surf for the next three weeks. Then I tried to log into All Advantage and kept receiving a message that my email address was not valid. It worked for everyone else so I sent an email to the customer service department.
I was informed that I would have to provide another email address and I did so, although I was a little perturbed. The next day my account was fine and I started surfing again. Two days later I tried to log in and again received a message that my email address was not valid. This was approximately three weeks ago and I just received a response from them saying that it was an internal error that has been corrected and I can now enter my account.
I go to check on my account today and I am greeted with the latest and greatest change All Advantage has now provided for all of its members. All of this has been done, I believe do to their recent financial problems.
Here are the changes they have made.
New users are automatically entered to win sweepstakes instead of being set up to participate in the pay to surf program.
All of us old timers of All Advantage have also been changed to the sweepstakes program although we are able to change the default back to the pay bar.
I am sad to say that after the past four months I will no longer be using this program. I am not sure if I will ever receive all the money that is owed to me. I can say that this is one speeding train I am jumping off of before it hits the brick wall it has been headed towards for months.
I would recommend that you try the view bar Jotter has made. It is designed after All Advantage but the company appears to be stable and the view bar is actually easier to use.
