The luck I've had with getting All Advantage to work like it's supposed to is little to none. When there are a lot of programs set to startup automatically, it can weigh heavily on your system resources, and I couldn't get All Advantage Viewbar (here after referred to as "All Annoying" or "AA") to leave the startup program list. I would tell it, "No! That's a bad program!" metaphorically speaking, and it would say, "Ha, ha! I will never die! I will slow your system and make your girlfriend break up with you!" Ok, that's exagerated, a tiny, tiny bit, but you get the idea. Finally I had to just uninstall it. (By the way, I do know how to operate msconfig, so it's not like i didn't know what I was doing.)
Some people may feel that even though they'll never get a big check from All Annoying, a little money can't hurt, but after hours of surfing with the damn thing and seeing that I've barely earned $2, it was just too dispairing to continue, especially since the program kept screwing up. I've written maybe 9 or 10 reviews on epinions and made more that 4 times that amount. I think I'll just write a bunch more opinions cause it's easier that way.
In short, it was too emotionally stressful for my taste. It hides behind a vail of ease, but when you lift that sucker up to kiss the bride you see $2 dollar lips and you rush to the bathroom to throw up. There I go exagerating again, but I'm pretty upset at AA. I have better ways to waste my time that don't pay you anything but enjoyment.
Oh yeah, the ads are the least helpful ads ever. Sometimes when you're on the net, you see a banner that's worth checking out, but not with All Annoying. It's the junk at the bottom of the barrel. It's 50 cents an hour to put up with a waste of space. A buck an hour might make me reconsider, and $5.15 would make me jump at the opportunity, but that's wishful thinking.
I'm not saying you shouldn't try it, in fact, go ahead. You just have to have more patients then I do.
